Questions:
If tolerance genes provide plants with a natural defense system, is there a chance that weeds may have it as well?
If weeds have there own natural defense system, will they grow more abundant in areas that are unwanted?
Will weeds become a problem if they have tolerance genes that tolerates Herbicide?
Answer:
The answer to all of the questions is, "Yes!" Since weed is a plant, it would make sense that they would have there own naturally defense system as well. If weeds are able too tolerate herbicide, then they will become abundant in rural areas. Furthermore, weeds are undesirable, unattractive, and troublesome plants.
Question:
How do we rid ourselves from these unwanted plants, if herbicide will not kill the plant?
Answer:
You may either pull the unwanted plant out or you may spray herbicide to kill the unwanted plants. Indeed, herbicide may not kill the plants if they have a gene to tolerate it, however, not all plants have a natural defense system. With that in mind herbicide is guarentee to still work on certain plants.
